(a) All houses and other primary buildings located within the city limits shall have displayed on the front of the house or building a number or numbers assigned by the City of Marion to be used with the name of the street in front of the house or building to designate the address of the property on which it is located.
(b) Said numbers shall be attached to the front of the house or building and shall be of a size sufficient to be seen from the street in front of the property.
(c) The owner of the property shall be responsible for the installation of said house and/or building numbers.
(d) Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate or fail to comply with this section shall be guilty of an offense and upon conviction shall be punished by a fine not to exceed fifty dollars ($50.00) or by imprisonment not to exceed thirty (30) days.
