Operations of the department include the routine patrol of police vehicles, traffic control, investigation of accidents, investigation of crimes of any category, traffic control through issuance of parking tickets, arrests, court appearances, filing reports, foot patrols, security of business establishments, communications and numerous other procedures for law enforcement and providing for public safety.
