Sec. 7-36. Adoption of fire prevention code.

   The City Council hereby adopts the North Carolina Fire Code currently adopted by the State of North Carolina. Such code is hereby adopted and incorporated fully as if set out at length in this article, and from the date of adoption of the ordinance from which this section derives, the provisions thereof shall be controlling within the limits of the city.
