§ 153.01 STATUTORY AUTHORIZATION.
   The Legislature of the Commonwealth of Kentucky has in KRS Ch. 100 delegated to local government units the authority to adopt regulations designed to promote the public health, safety, and general welfare of its citizenry. Therefore, the City Council of the City of Marion, Kentucky (the "city") hereby adopts this chapter setting forth provisions for floodplain management.
