For use in this chapter, the following terms are defined:
1. “Administrative Authority” means the Marion County Board of Health or designee(s).
2. “County Sanitarian” means the Marion County Environmental Health Program Manager, located in the Marion County Public health Department, Environmental health Program Office.
3. “Septic Contractor” means any person, or business firm, installing, repairing, or providing maintenance of private sewage disposal systems for compensation.
4. “System Design Engineer” means a Licensed Professional Engineer by education and degree obtained thereby, conducting soil profiling and designing, percolation testing or specifying private sewage disposal systems for installation in Marion County. All designs must meet State Code, Environmental Protection [567], Chapter 69 or County Code defined in Chapter 44 Code of Ordinances and Chapter 40 Health Regulations.
