§ 115.27 NUMBER PLATES.
   After the issuance of a license, the City Controller shall deliver to the applicant a metal number plate for each motor vehicle listed in the schedule filed with the City Controller, on which plate shall be printed or stamped the words “TAXI No. ,” numbered to correspond with the number of the license. The number plate shall be attached to either the radiator grill or license plate holder of the vehicle licensed, so long as that vehicle is used for the conveyance of passengers within the city.
