CITY OF MARINE CITY

COUNTY OF ST. CLAIR, MICHIGAN

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF MARINE CITY, ST. CLAIR COUNTY, MICHIGAN TO ENACT AND ADOPT A SUPPLEMENT TO THE CODE OF ORDINANCES FOR THE CITY OF MARINE CITY, MICHIGAN, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, has completed the 2017 S-5 supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Marine City, Michigan, which supplement contains all ordinances of a general and permanent nature enacted since the prior supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Marine City, Michigan; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary to provide for the usual daily operation of the municipality and for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, safety and general welfare of the municipality that this ordinance take effect at an early date;

THE CITY OF MARINE CITY ORDAINS:

   Section 1.   That the 2017 S-5 supplement to the Code of Ordinances of the City of Marine City, Michigan as submitted by American Legal Publishing Corporation of Cincinnati, Ohio, and as presented, be and the same is hereby adopted by reference as if set out in its entirety.

   Section 2.   Such supplement shall be deemed published as of the day of its adoption and approval by the Legislative Authority and the Clerk of the City of Marine City, Michigan is hereby authorized and ordered to insert such supplement into the copy of the Code of Ordinances kept on file in the Office of the Clerk.

   Section 3.   This ordinance is declared to be an emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the peace, health, safety and general welfare of the people of this municipality, and shall take effect at the earliest date provided by law.

The foregoing is a true and complete copy of an Ordinance adopted by the City Commission of the City of Marine City, County of St. Clair, State of Michigan, at a regular meeting of the City Commission held on the 15th day of June, 2017, and public notice of said meeting was given pursuant to and in accordance with the requirements of Act No. 267 of the Public Acts of 1976, as amended, being the Open Meetings Act, and the Minutes of said meeting have been or will be made available as required by said Act.

   It was moved by and supported by to adopt the Ordinance.

   The Ordinance was declared adopted by the Mayor and has been recorded in the Ordinance Book of the City of Marine City.
