§ 158.064 LICENSE FOR INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person to engage as an independent contractor in the installation, alteration, maintenance or repair of electrical wiring, equipment, apparatus or fixtures for light, heat or power purposes where the electromotive force exceeds 30 volts in or about buildings or structures located within the city without first having procured a license.
   (B)   An applicant for an electrical contractor’s license shall be over 18 years of age and shall be the holder of a master electrician’s license, or shall regularly employ a person who is the holder of a master electrician’s license who shall be actively in charge of work for the applicant.
