§ 158.058 CERTIFICATE OF INSPECTION.
   (A)   (1)   No certificate of inspection shall be issued unless the electrical installation is in strict conformity with the provisions of this subchapter, the statutes of the state, the rules and regulations issued by the state’s Public Service Commission under the Authority of the state statutes; and unless they are in conformity with approved methods of construction for safety to persons and property.
      (2)   The regulations as laid down in the National Electrical Code, as approved by the American Standards Association and in the National Electrical Safety Code, as approved by the American Standards Association, and in the Board of Electrical Examiners rules and regulations established as provided in § 158.061(B) shall be prima facie evidence of the approved methods.
   (B)   Certificate of inspection shall be issued on request from any person to whom permit is issued, but shall not be issued until after the installation has been tested with current on wires and all electrical equipment permanently installed, or if this is not possible, until after every outlet has been tested by the applicant or his or her representatives in the presence of the Inspector and approved by that Inspector.
