The provisions of this subchapter shall not apply to the following:
(A) The installing of radio receiving sets and equipment. The installation of convenience outlets for power supply to a radio set shall be subject to such rules and regulations.
(B) Apparatus and equipment installed by or for any public utility operating under jurisdiction of the state’s Public Service Commission in the exercise of its function as a utility and when the apparatus or equipment is used primarily for the generation or distribution of electric current or for signal or communication purposes.
