(A) In the construction, operation and maintenance of any swimming pool, state laws and the rules, regulations and requirements of the state’s Department of Health as well as the Building Code and other city ordinances shall be observed.
(B) If there is any conflict between the provisions of this chapter and any provision of state law or requirements, rules or regulations of the state’s Department of Health or the Building Code and city ordinances, the provision imposing the higher standard or the more stringent requirement shall be controlling.
