(A) It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge any firearm or other instrument producing a like effect and noise within the city, except in the lawful defense of his person or property or as otherwise permitted by law.
(B) It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge or shoot any bow and arrow or other instrument producing a like effect within the city except within the confines of an enclosed building designed and operated for the safe operation of the devices.
