It shall be unlawful for any person to commit the crime of larceny by stealing from any person or from or in any dwelling, house, house trailer, automobile, truck or other vehicle, office, store, business place, gasoline service station, shop, warehouse, mill, factory, hotel, school, barn, ship, boat, vessel, church, house of worship, locker room or any building used by the public, or who shall commit the crime of larceny anywhere within the limits of the city.
