(A) (1) The Cemetery Fund shall consist of a set of books to which shall be credited the receipts as provided in this chapter. The moneys in the Fund shall be used for maintenance and repair of burial lots, monuments, vaults, tombs, buildings, roads, alleys and the like in the city cemetery and any cemetery which may become a city cemetery.
(2) The city shall maintain the Perpetual Lot Care Fund and shall keep therein such receipts as are provided in this chapter. The moneys in the Fund shall be deposited in a bank, or invested in good and sufficient securities, pursuant to resolution of the Commission, and the interest therefrom shall be used for the purpose or purposes for which the money is given, and for no other purpose.
(3) In the case of moneys credited the Perpetual Lot Care Fund, the interest therefrom shall be used for improvement of roads, alleys, buildings, burial lots, monuments, vaults, tombs, and other properties constructed, provided and maintained for the use of the public in the city cemetery, and for the upkeep of the cemetery and the lots therein, and for no other purpose.

(B) (1) All moneys expended by the city for the improvement of the cemeteries shall be drawn by them from the Cemetery Fund.
(2) All money received for the sale of lots in the several cemeteries, shall be paid into the City Treasury, and be placed in the Cemetery Fund, and shall be drawn only upon order of the Commission.
