In addition to the penalty provided in § 10.99 of this code, the Police Chief, or his or her duly authorized agent, may impound the minibike for a period not to exceed 30 days upon conviction of any provision of this subchapter as a first offense and a period not to exceed 60 days for any second or subsequent conviction.
