§ 70.005 SUDDEN ACCELERATION.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for an operator of a motor vehicle on a public street or highway to accelerate suddenly so as to create an immediate hazard.
   (B)   A person who violates this section shall be responsible for a municipal civil infraction, and shall be subject to the penalty provisions of § 10.99 of the code.
