§ 32.21 WORKER'S COMPENSATION BENEFITS OFFSET - UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION BENEFITS OFFSET.
   (A)   The amount of any benefits, except payments for medical care, paid a retirant or beneficiary pursuant to the worker's compensation law, or any similar law, of the State of Michigan or pursuant to a settlement of any claim for worker's compensation benefits, on account of the person's employment by the city, shall be offset against and payable in lieu of benefits provided by the retirement system.
   (B)   The amount of any benefits paid a retirant, who has not attained age 70 years, pursuant to the unemployment compensation law of the State of Michigan, on account of the person's prior employment by the city, shall be offset against and payable in lieu of benefits provided by the retirement system.
