(a) No person shall write, print, paint, stamp or mark advertising, signs, lettering or designs upon any of the sidewalks, curbs, streets, public buildings or property of the City.
(b) This section does not apply to the placement of advertising banners on the decorative light poles on the Washington Street Bridge for the purpose of promoting festivals or events within the corporation limits of the City of Marietta, Ohio.
