(a) No person shall operate a vessel as defined in Ohio R.C. 1547.01 on the Muskingum River within the City of Marietta, Ohio, from its mouth at the Ohio River to a line extending east and west across the Muskingum River at the northerly terminus of the corporation boundary line at greater than idle speed or at a speed that creates a wake.
(b) The provisions of this Section shall not be applicable to launches operated in connection with rowing events sponsored by Marietta College or Marietta High School.
(c) Whoever violates any provision of this Section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
