351.24 TWO-HOUR PARKING LIMIT IN ZONE B.
   EDITOR'S NOTE: Pursuant to Ordinance 26(08-09), passed March 6, 2008, the maximum two-hour parking limitation imposed by this section on those curbside parking spaces located in the 100 block of Scammel Street shall be and is hereby repealed, except for the two curbside parking spaces located immediately in front of the business premises at 109 Scammel Street, Marietta, Ohio.
   (a)    There is hereby established a maximum two-hour parking limitation for those curbside parking spaces where parking meter heads have been removed in Zone B and for those parking spaces in the one hundred block of Ohio Street. No person shall park in any curbside parking space where parking meter heads have been removed in Zone B or in a parking space in the one hundred block of Ohio Street for any period of time longer than two hours.
   (b)    The time during which parking limitation shall be in effect for legal parking in Zone B is 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon Saturdays. This limitation on parking shall not be in effect on Saturday afternoons, Sundays or on the following holidays: New Year's Day; Martin Luther King Day; President's Day; Memorial Day; Independence Day; and any day appointed and recommended by the Governor of this State or the President of the United States as a holiday. If any day designated in this section as a legal holiday falls on Sunday, the next succeeding day shall be the legal holiday.
