(a) PARKING PARTNERS LOT (formerly known as B & O Parking Lot). There are hereby set aside a maximum of (147) and (2) handicap parking spaces for monthly rental in the Parking Partners Lot (formally known as B & O Parking Lot under the control of the Director of Public Safety and Service.
(1) From the (147) parking spaces and (2) handicap spaces available for monthly rental, (24) of those shall be set aside and reserved for (24) hour per day, 7 days a week for rental by the tenants of Rainbow Creek Land and Development, LLC, pursuant to a parking rental and license agreement, authorized and entered into by the Director of Public Safety and Service.
(2) The (24) spaces set aside and reserved for (24) hour (7) days a week parking are as follows:
A. Parking space number: 28, 31, 59, 60, 64, 66, 67, 68, 127, 128, 129, 133, 134, 135, 137, 138, 140, 141, 142, 143, 144, 145, 146, 147
(3) The City of Marietta shall place signage on the (24) reserved (24) hour spaces.
(b) INDIAN ACRES PARKING LOT. There are hereby set aside a maximum of (36) spaces for monthly rental in the Indian Acres Parking Lot under the control of the Director of Public Safety and Service.
(c) EAST MUSKGINGUM PARKING LOT (formerly known as Putnam Bridge Lot).
There are hereby set aside a maximum of (15) spaces for monthly rental in the Putnam Bridge Parking Lot under the control of the Director of Public Safety and Service.
(d) ARMORY PARKING LOT. There are hereby set aside a maximum of (28) spaces for monthly rental in the Armory Parking Lot under the control of the Director of Public Safety and Service.
(e) WEST PUTNAM BRIDGE PARKING LOT. There are hereby set aside a maximum of two (2) spaces for monthly rental in the West Putnam Street Bridge Parking Lot under the control of the Director of Public Safety and Service.
(f) LAFAYETTE LEVEE PARKING LOT. At this time there are zero (0) spaces hereby set aside for monthly rental in the Lafayette Levee Parking Lot.
(g) WASHINGTON STREET BRIDGE PARKING LOT. At this time there are zero (0) spaces hereby set aside for the monthly rental under the Washington Street Bridge.
(h) Commencing on January 1, 2025, the Director of Public Safety and Service is hereby empowered to let such parking spaces for thirty-five dollars ($35.00) per month, per space, payable in advance, to the general public on a first come - first serve basis.
(i) The Director shall maintain, as a matter of public record, a chronological priority list containing the name, address and telephone number of those individuals seeking to let the remaining (123) and (2) handicap parking spaces, and as spaces from time to time become available, they shall be let according to such list.
(j) No person shall stop, stand or park any vehicle in violation of any subsection of this section.
(k) Any person who violates any subsection of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. (Ord. 57(23-24). Passed 5-16-24.)
