(a) There is established a Traffic Control Map which shall reflect by legend and proper designation the Municipality's currently existing:
(1) Traffic control signals.
(2) Through streets and State routes.
(3) One-way streets and alleys.
(4) Stop intersections.
(5) Yield right of way intersections.
(6) Commercial and passenger loading zones.
(7) Prohibited and limited parking areas.
(b) The Traffic Control Map, existing as of the date of passage of this Traffic Code, is incorporated as a part of this Traffic Code. The Map shall be prepared and maintained to date by the Division of Traffic Engineering and Safety.
(c) Council by ordinance, or the Director of Public Safety and Service by rules and regulations, may amend the Traffic Control Map, but no such provision shall be enforceable until after the effective date thereof and the official signs, signals or markings are erected or placed in proper position. The Division of Traffic Engineering and Safety, upon receipt of a copy of such amendment, shall record the information and amend the Map to conform with the provisions thereof.
