The Water Superintendent shall update the Drinking Water Source Protection Plan completed and approved by the Ohio EPA on March 10, 2009 on or before January 1, 2014, and on or before every five (5) year period thereafter. This plan may include but is not limited to:
(a) Help provide the safest and highest quality drinking water to its customers at the lowest possible price;
(b) Help to minimize the potential threats to our source of drinking water;
(c) Help to plan for expansion, development, zoning and emergency response issues;
(1) Short term loss of source,
(2) Long term loss of source,
(3) Emergency response to spills in protection areas,
(4) Ground water monitoring strategies,
(d) Explore opportunities for funding;
(e) Improve education and outreach strategies.
