(a) Boat Dock Names.
(1) The public boat docks located on the Ohio River are hereby officially designated as Lafayette Docks.
(2) The public boat docks located behind the Post Office on the Muskingum River are designated as the Ice Harbor Docks.
(3) The public boat docks located on the west side of the Muskingum River in the Village of Harmar are designated as the Harmar Docks.
(4) The public boat docks located at the Indian Acres Park on the Muskingum River are designated as the Indian Acre Docks.
(b) The following regulation shall be posted in a conspicuous place by proper signage by the Director of Public Safety and Service to include the following:
(1) No overnight mooring, with the exception of the Lafayette Docks during approved festivals.
The Director of Public Safety and Service or his designee shall be the authority to promulgate additional regulations or restrictions at any time, either verbally or in writing, that are deemed necessary.
(c) Hours of Operation. All public boat docks shall be open to the public daily for use between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. No person or persons shall occupy or be present on the docks during any hours in which the docks are not open to the public without first receiving a special exception in writing from the Director of Public Safety and Service; provided however, that this section shall not be applicable to any person or persons for the period of time reasonably necessary to launch or retrieve watercraft from the Indian Acres Dock.
