Whenever the decedent eligible for burial at City expense under Section 953.01 above is a veteran, the Director of Public Safety and Service is authorized and directed to apply to the Washington County Veterans Service Commission, or other appropriate agency, for reimbursement to the City for the cost of the burial plot so provided pursuant to Ohio R.C. 5901.06.
