(a) All officers and employees of the City, with the exception of those set forth herein shall be covered by a public employees blanket bond in the amount of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) conditioned for the faithful performance of the duties of such officers and employees, and payable to the City.
(b) In addition to coverage under the public employees blanket bond required by subsection (a) hereof, the following officers and employees shall be covered by the additional bond amounts set forth as follows:

(c) The Treasurer and Auditor shall not be covered by the public employees blanket bond required by subsection (a) hereof, but shall be covered by individual bonds in the amount of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) conditioned for the faithful performance of the duties of such officer and payable to the City.
(d) The bonds required by this section shall be executed by a corporate surety authorized and empowered to transact surety business in the State of Ohio. The premium payable on any such corporate surety bond shall be paid by the City.
