(a) There is hereby created the position of Superintendent of Public Lands and Buildings, with such Superintendent to be appointed by the Director of Public Safety and Service.
(b) The duties and responsibilities of the Superintendent of Public Lands and Buildings shall be as follows:
(1) To generally maintain and improve all City-owned lands, including parks, and buildings thereon as prescribed by the Director.
(2) To supervise and to work manually with any employees under his supervision and control.
(3) To keep and maintain all records necessary and proper in connection with the time cards of employees under his control and of materials purchased for use in projects within his scope of responsibility.
(4) Any other record keeping responsibilities as prescribed by the Director.
