922.99 PENALTY.
   (a)   Any discharger who is found to have violated an order of the City or who has failed to comply with any provision of this chapter or of the permit, and the regulations or rules of the City, or orders of any court of competent jurisdiction shall be subjected to administrative fines, civil or criminal penalties not to exceed one thousand dollars ($1000) per day for each violation of pretreatment standards and requirements.
   (b)   Each day on which a violation occurs or continues shall be deemed a separate and distinct offense. In addition to the penalty provided herein, the City may recover reasonable attorney's fees, court costs, court reporter's fees and other expenses of litigation by appropriate suit at law against the person found to have violated this chapter, permit or orders, rules, regulations and permits issued hereunder.
