725.21 LIMITATION IN NUMBER OF OPERATOR'S LICENSES.

   (a)    The operator’s license hereinabove provided for may be granted and issued to the operators of taxicab fleets as follows:

      (1)   Ohio Valley Cab & Delivery Service, LLC.

      (2)   Taxi Leasing, Ltd. doing business as Yellow Taxi Company.

      (3)   59 Green Ltd., doing business as GreenCab within the parameters of the

Pilot Program, as authorized by Ordinance No. 180(22-23).

   (b)    The taxicab operator's license herein provided for shall be renewed from year to year as otherwise provided by this chapter and license fees to be paid shall be the same as provided therein.

   (c)    Council hereby reserves the right to grant a franchise or license to an additional taxicab company at any time it desires, subject to the terms of this chapter.
