No owner, agent, operator, or other person in charge of any vehicle shall permit the vehicle to remain parked, standing, or abandoned on any street or municipally-owned property for a continuous period longer than 12 hours in any 24-hour period without authorization. This section shall not be construed as affecting any other parking regulation now in effect or that may hereafter become effective, but shall be construed as an additional parking limitation. The purpose of this section is to prohibit continuous longtime parking and the storage of vehicles on the streets and property of the village.
