§ 55.29 ENCUMBERING PUBLIC RIGHTS- OF-WAY.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful to encumber any public right-of-way which includes streets, green strips, sidewalk space, or other public areas with goods, wares, merchandise, temporary signs, planting containers, or other items or materials, unless authorized by the Mayor.
   (B)   This section shall not apply to the temporary use of streets and sidewalks for lawful construction purposes.
