Below the 12-foot height as defined in § 53.06, bases, columns, pilasters, capitals, corbels, moldings, sculpture, and other decorative features which are part of the construction may project not more than eight inches beyond the street property line. Awning winding devices may project not more than eight inches beyond the street property line, but must be either less than three feet or more than seven feet above the level of the curb directly opposite.
