§ 50.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   COMMERCIAL WELL. Any well used to obtain water for business or industrial purposes, not including wells used exclusively for private homes, for watering stock, or for farm or agricultural purposes.
   GOVERNING AUTHORITY.
      (1)   For all sanitary sewers and combination sewers: the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio;
      (2)   For storm sewers owned by Hamilton County, Ohio: Sewer Department, Hamilton County, Ohio; and
      (3)   For all other storm sewers: Building Department, Village of Mariemont, Ohio.
   LICENSED SEWER TAPPER. A person authorized, in accordance with § 50.06, to engage in the business of making sewer connections.
   SEWER. Storm sewers, sanitary sewers, combination sewers, catchbasins, inlets, and any kind of pipe or conduit for the carrying away of water or water-borne wastes.
   STREET. Every public way set apart for travel, by whatever word designated, including the area from property line to property line.
