§ 32.03 VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR.
   (A)   The position of Village Administrator is hereby established to manage any public utilities and collect any rents for them. The Administrator may pass bylaws and regulations relating to these utilities, which must not be inconsistent with village or state laws. The Administrator supervises the maintenance of public places, streets and sidewalks. The Administrator may appoint those employees authorized by the Village Council with approval of the Mayor. The Administrator has all powers of the Board of Public Affairs and Street Commissioner, plus other powers and duties set by ordinance of Village Council. However, the Administrator cannot establish utility rates which are determined by Village Council. The Administrator is under the general supervision and control of the Mayor.
   (B)   In accordance with R.C. § 735.272, when a Village Administrator is appointed by the Mayor, and confirmed by the legislative authority of the Village, the Board of Trustees of Public Affairs shall be abolished and the term of office of such members of the board shall terminate.
