§ 35.03 EMPLOYEE AWARENESS AND TRAINING.
   (A)   The Village's Plan Administrator of the program. The duties of the Plan Administrator will include, but not be limited to:
      (1)   Responsibility for implementing the policy and procedures in the program;
      (2)   Ensuring the program is communicated to all employees through an initial presentation prior to the implementation of the program and annually thereafter;
      (3)   Acting as the resource for employees to obtain assistance and access to referral services; and
      (4)   Maintaining all records dealing with the program.
   (B)   Employee awareness and training. Employee awareness and training will include the following.
      (1)   On an annual basis, every employee will receive at least one hour of education on the program, how it operates, alcohol and drug use/abuse information, signs and symptoms, effects and dangers of commonly used drugs in the workplace.
      (2)   All new employees will go through one hour of DFWP orientation, followed up by one hour of training at the annual training class for all employees.
   (C)   Supervisor awareness and training. Supervisor awareness and training will include the following.
      (1)   At least two hours of initial informational and skill-building sessions, in addition to the annual two hour employee training.
      (2)   For every subsequent program year, supervisors who received the initial training must receive the one-hour refresher course, also in addition to the one hour of employee education.
      (3)   New supervisors will receive at least one hour of training within six weeks of becoming a supervisor, with the remaining training to take place at the annual training session.
      (4)   Supervisors will receive training prior to the implementation of any testing.
   (D)   Training. Training will be presented by a qualified educator or a person supervised by a qualified educator.
