The Mayor of the Village of Marblehead, be and he or she hereby is authorized and directed to appoint the members thereof, subject to the confirmation of this Council, such appointees upon such confirmation to hold their respective offices until their successors have been elected at the next regular election of municipal officers to be held in the Village of Marblehead.
