§ 34.01 DEFINITION.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   CIVIL EMERGENCY. Any natural or man-made calamity, disaster, or condition including but not limited to flood, conflagration, cyclone, tornado, earthquake, explosion, or other environmental condition existing within the corporate limits of the Village which poses a threat to the health, safety, and welfare of the public and/or threatens the destruction of property, to such an extent that extraordinary measures must be taken in order to preserve order and protect persons and property.
