A. It is unlawful for any person to plant, prune, spray, remove, destroy or injure in any way, any tree or shrub on any public street in the city, without first securing a permit from the city to do so. The permit shall state specifically the work to be done and will be void after thirty (30) days.
B. No person shall damage, cut, carve, transplant or remove any tree or plant, dig in, or otherwise disturb grass areas, or in any other way injure or impair the natural beauty or usefulness of any public area. (1986 Code)
