The purpose and intent of the impact fee procedures is:
A. To establish uniform procedures for the imposition, calculation, collection, expenditure and administration of impact fees imposed on new development;
B. To facilitate the implementation of the goals, objectives and policies of the Mapleton City general plan and zoning ordinance, and assuring that new impact producing development contributes its fair share towards the costs of providing capital facilities reasonably necessitated by such development;
C. To ensure that new development is reasonably benefitted by the provision of capital facilities provided by impact fees; and
D. To be consistent with Utah State Code provisions governing impact fees. (Ord. 2021-07, 3-3-2021)
