(A) (1) Building permits once the Zoning Board and the City Council approve them are good for 180 days after start date (start date is stated on permit.)
(2) Applicant may request an extension of the permit with no changes. Permit is void if an extension is not granted.
(B) Property in a residential zoning district shall, seed, sod or otherwise plant with a ground cover within 240 days after any disturbance to the property caused by construction, grading or other activity, or at any time prior to the 240 days if the property is causing erosion or drainage problems on the same or nearby properties, including public street.
(C) A structure, or a portion of a structure, located in a residential zoning district, must complete building permit construction within 180 days after the date that the city building permit is issued.
(D) The construction materials, including piles of dirt, sand and sod, left in the open on the property must be removed within 60 days after construction has been completed.
