§ 32.02 OFFICERS.
   (A)   The Department shall be composed of not less than 20 active members and may consist of as many members as may be deemed necessary for the adequate protection of the community, by the Council.
   (B)   The operation officers of the Department shall be the Chief, First Assistant, Second Assistant and Captain and other officers as the Chief may deem necessary for effective operation of the Department.
   (C)   There shall be an executive committee composed of the Chief, First Assistant, Second Assistant, Captain, and Secretary and as many other members as may be deemed necessary.
   (D)   The Chief, First Assistant, Second Assistant, Captain, and Secretary shall be elected by the Department for a period of 1 year, each year at the December meeting. New officers will assume their offices at the annual meeting in January.
   (E)   The Chief of the Department shall be accountable to the Council. The Assistant Chiefs shall be held directly accountable to the Chief. The Captain shall be held accountable directly to the Chief and assistant Chiefs and all other operational officers shall be accountable to their superior officers.
   (F)   All operational officers shall be appointed by the Chief and are subject to removal by him or her at his or her discretion.
