(A) General.
(1) The City Council by resolution may designate streets on which travel by commercial vehicles in excess of a stated gross weight is prohibited.
(2) A Public Works employee shall erect appropriate signs on those streets.
(3) No person shall operate a commercial vehicle on the posted streets in violation of the restrictions stated.
(B) Dynamic engine brakes (Jake brakes). It shall be unlawful for any truck to intentionally dynamic brake (Jake brake) on any public highway, street, parking lot or alley within the City of Mapleton, except in an emergency.
