A. Burning Garbage: It shall be unlawful to burn garbage and refuse except paper, cartons, leaves, wood and yard trimmings within the Village.
B. Garbage Accumulations: It shall be unlawful to permit or allow or cause to accumulate anywhere in the Village any garbage or other material subject to decay other than leaves or grass except in a covered metal container.
C. Substances Subject To Wind: It shall be unlawful to cause or permit to accumulate any dust, ashes or trash, of such a material that it can be blown away by the wind, anywhere in the Village except in a covered container.
D. Garbage Deposits On Public Ways: It shall be unlawful to deposit or permit to fall from any vehicle any garbage, refuse or ashes on any public street or alley in the Village; provided, that this section shall not be construed to prohibit the placing of garbage, refuse or ashes in a container complying with the provisions of this chapter in preparation to having such material collected and disposed of in a manner provided herein.
E. Dumping On Premises: It shall be unlawful to dump or place any garbage, refuse or ashes on any premises in the Village, without the consent of the owner of such premises.
F. Storage Of Combustible Refuse: It shall be unlawful to permit or store any combustible refuse in such manner as it shall create a hazard of fire, or to store or deposit any garbage, refuse or ashes of any nature or kind whatever upon any alley, street or other public place within the Village except as provided herein.
G. Piles Of Refuse A Nuisance: It shall be unlawful to deposit anywhere in the Village any uncovered piles for collection of refuse, garbage, and ashes. Any uncovered piles of such refuse, garbage or ashes are hereby declared to be a nuisance. (Ord. 1999-02, 5-4-1999)
