9-15-1: PURPOSE:

It is the purpose of this chapter to regulate the location, installation, and maintenance of wind energy conversion systems. The promotion of safe, effective and efficient use of wind energy systems will be balanced against the need to preserve and protect public health, safety and welfare. (Ord. 08-32, 4-6-2009)
