In discharging this responsibility, the emergency management liaison shall:
(A) Be under the control and supervision of the chief of police for the village of Manteno;
(B) Act as counselor to the village president, along with the chief of police, concerning the management of emergency situations;
(C) Provide assistance with the coordination and activation of the village emergency management center;
(D) Act as head liaison between the village of Manteno and other emergency agencies;
(E) Maintain and revise, as needed, the village emergency action plan;
(F) Develop, schedule and conduct annual table top exercises; and
(G) Attend emergency planning meetings (county, state, etc.) as needed for continued education and to be familiar with current emergency management issues. (Ord. 05-65, 4-17-2006)
