In lieu of using any section or in addition to any section of this title, the officer issuing a citation may issue it using any of the sections of the Illinois vehicle code, 625 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/1-100 et seq., which sections of said Illinois vehicle code, and all amendments made from time to time, are hereby incorporated by reference as a part of this title. When issuing a citation, every numbered section in said vehicle code shall be referred to by the letter "M" as a prefix to the section number. All citations so issued shall be issued in the name of the village and referred to in the uniform traffic ticket or complaint as an ordinance violation. (Ord. 06-03, 5-15-2006)
