7-4-1: ONE-WAY STREETS DESIGNATED:

The police chief is authorized, subject to the approval of the village board, to determine and designate one-way streets and alleys and he shall erect and maintain appropriate signs giving notice thereof.

It shall be unlawful for any person to drive any vehicle in violation of any signs erected in accordance with this section. (1956 Code, Sec. 14-30)
