7-3-23: SCHOOL BUSES:
The driver of any vehicle upon any public way in the village, upon meeting or overtaking from either direction any school bus which has stopped on said public way for the purpose of receiving or discharging any school children, shall, before reaching such school bus, bring the vehicle to a complete stop, when there is in operation on said school bus a visual sign as specified in 625 Illinois Compiled Statutes 5/12-805, as amended, and said driver shall not proceed until such school bus resumes motion, or until such driver is signaled by the school bus driver to proceed, or until such visible signals are no longer actuated.
