7-1-5: ACCIDENT RECORDS:

The office of the police chief shall maintain a suitable system of filing traffic accident reports and receive and file properly all accident reports made to it under state law or under any provision of this code but all such accident reports made by drivers shall be for the confidential use of the police chief and other officers of the village for official use. (1956 Code, Sec. 14-5)
