(A) Nothing in this chapter shall relieve a user in the village of Manteno, whose discharge will enter the city of Kankakee sanitary sewer system, from abiding by the city of Kankakee's utility ordinance, general pretreatment regulations. It is understood that the city of Kankakee may amend its utility ordinance from time to time, which text may or may not appear in this chapter. User is advised to review and abide by the city of Kankakee's utility ordinance before taking any action which may cause it to come under the auspices of or be in violation of this chapter or that ordinance.
(B) Any future additions or deletions to the Kankakee utility ordinance are hereby adopted, incorporated and applicable to users within the village of Manteno at the time and manner so specified, as adopted by the city council of the city of Kankakee.
(C) If any section, paragraph, clause or provision of this chapter shall be held invalid, the invalidity thereof shall not affect any of the other provisions of this chapter.
(D) The applicability of this chapter shall be limited to those users whose discharges will enter the sanitary sewer system for the city of Kankakee.
(E) All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this chapter are hereby repealed insofar as they conflict herewith. (Ord. 06-70, 2-20-2007)
